I'm trying not to sound like a real downer, but sometimes I come off that way in writing... Basically... I am just looking for someone who is honest, loyal, faithful, and fun!!! I've been burned a lot in life and...honestly...I'd say that I am more afraid of being hurt again than I am of dying at this moment. I've led a long and hard life, and I guarentee you that you will NEVER meet anyone as driven and devoted as I am. I tend to get knocked down a lot, but I have always gotten back up again. I can be very independent and strong willed, but let's face it, even the strongest person in the world needs a shoulder to lean on sometimes... and someone to make them feel wanted and special. That's what I'm here for.

I'm probably not the girl that anyone pictured being their dream date. Sometimes I'm a little pessimistic about life, and now that I am single...I just try to focus on me and not so much on dating. Picturing myself dating again is a hard thing to do (and a little scary) because I have kids. I know that more than half of you will stop right here and bail on getting to know me because a lot of guys aren't looking for an entire family to date...

My children are also the reason that I am looking for someone to chat with online, possibly hang out with once in a while, and so on. I'm not ready or willing to jump into anything serious, so if you want to chat and see where it goes, I'm game. If you're just looking for one good night...keep moving, I'm not interested.

Okay, so I thought I'd probably explain the currently seperated (soon to be divorced) thing a little more... All I want to say (because I don't dwell in the past) is that no I didn't cheat, I didn't marry for money or benefits, I just got ditched. My ex-husband decided that since all the other recruiters were leaving their wives and cheating, that he wanted to join in...and therefore...he decided he didn't want to be married anymore. Hope that eases some minds.
